Does a CarePump unit come with cuffs?

No. Each unit comes with its power supply (Sport series units and the Move8 PRO also include a backpack). You choose the cuffs you need separately, usually on the advice of your physiotherapist. The Move series is also available as mobile sets that include two leg cuffs. See the accessories and sizing guide.

Which cuffs fit my unit?

Cuffs must have the same number of chambers as your unit: 4-chamber cuffs for the Lite4, Compact4 and Move4, 6-chamber cuffs for the Lite6 and Move6, and 8-chamber cuffs for the Lite8, Expert8, Expert8 DUO, Move8 and Move8 PRO.

Can I treat both legs at the same time?

Yes. Order the leg cuff pair, short pants or full pants, which include a double splitter, or add a double splitter to connect two single cuffs. The Expert8 DUO can also run two cuffs with different settings on its two channels.

What if the cuff is too small?

CarePump cuffs are a universal size and adapt to the body when inflated. For larger limbs, extension zippers widen leg cuffs, pants and the double arm cuff.

How often can I use it?

The CarePump manuals say pressotherapy can be done daily. Your physiotherapist or doctor will advise the right frequency, program and pressure for you.

What pressure should I use?

The Polish Society of Lymphology recommends that the first session uses a pressure no higher than your diastolic blood pressure measured on the treated limb, and that pressure is only increased if the previous session was well tolerated. Always follow your therapist’s advice.

Who should not use pressotherapy?

There are several contraindications, including pregnancy, a pacemaker, thrombophlebitis, heart or kidney failure, and cancer. See pressotherapy safety and contraindications.

How long does the battery last on the Move units?

About 4 hours from a full charge, according to the manufacturer’s tests at 100 mmHg. The battery on the Move series is replaceable.

Which unit should I buy?

For simple home use the Economic series (Lite4, Lite6, Lite8) is a good choice. For full control, choose the Advanced series (Compact4, Expert8, Expert8 DUO, Move8 PRO). For portable, battery-powered recovery, choose the Sport series (Move4, Move6, Move8). See the model comparison.

Are cuffs covered by the warranty?

No. Cuffs, air tubes and connectors are consumables and are not covered by the device warranty.
